The display will comprise elements of a collection formed over 40 years, and show adhesive and impressed stamps from the reign of Queen Victoria issued by selected West Indian Colonies. Included will be artists’ essays, die and plate proofs as well as the issued stamps both loose and on documents. With few exceptions, almost all the major issued rarities of the region will be shown, some of which have survived in minute numbers. As their designs and usages often cross over with Postage issues, the display may appeal to collectors not normally interested in Revenues.
