Lot 109 THE RARE RED "CARTHAGENA" FLEURON OF KINGSTON (TR2); 20th Jan. 1839 E to London with a near fine red oval "BOGOTA/FRANCA" and matching red "3" (prepaid local postage) on the front, with a v. fine claret-red "CARTHAGENA" fleuron also on the front (with barely detectable ironed fold) and a smudged "KINGSTON/JAMAICA" c.d.s. on the reverse.
