Lot 190 SAVANNAH LA MAR - 8D-RATE TO KINGSTON; 15th April 1859 E (fragile with some creases, tears & faults, mostly on reverse) to Kingston with a pair of G.B. 4d rose tied by two fine "A75" numerals for the 8d rate (a 119-mile journey). Rare in any condition; Foster only recorded 17 pieces/covers with other frankings and rated this franking as "Rare". PHOTO
