Lot 418 LOCAL SPECIMEN HANDSTAMPS: 3d, 6d & 1/- values locally handstamped with Aquilar type 12 (see pp51/60 in the "Philatelic Handbook of Jamaica", 1949). Some foxing but a scarce trio. Note: According to R.H. Fletcher, Postmaster of Jamaica 1925-38, the Jamaican Philatelic Society sought to establish a representative collection of all issues of Jamaican postage stamps.
