Lot 52 RARE RED T3 "LUCEA/JA"; 25th June 1814 E to Scotland with a fine strike of the "LUCEA/JA" mark in red-purple on the reverse (across filing endorsement but clear) with a fair "JAMAICA" fleuron d.s. alongside. Not recorded in this colour by Foster and thought to be the earliest known example of a Jamaican town mark in red. Rare. PHOTO
