CANCELLATION (TYPE 10); 26th Feb. 1901 PPC sent from the hotel to England, franked by a 1d Red "Falls" tied by a fair strike of the rare small boxed "MYRTLE BANK/(26. 2)1901/JAMAICA" purple datestamp with part of the date in manuscript. An early date; this United Fruit Co. hotel P.O. opened on 16th Jan. 1901. Also a 15th Feb. 1904 env. (hotel flap) to G.B. with fine strikes of the double circle steel "MYRTLE BANK/JAMAICA" c.d.s. & an unused PPC of the hotel
