(somewhat grubby & with closed tear but complete) to G.B., headed & countersigned for a Private in the 6th Royal Regiment of Foot, the Warwicks. regt., franked with a 1d blue tied by the Kingston duplex and the London transit "PAID" c.d.s., with a fine strike of the red Kingston handstruck "1" (PD8) alongside. Rare thus; prior to 1861 such soldiers' letters had to be franked with British adhesive
