Automatic facing and sorting equipment together with a manual
coding desk were exhibited and demonstrated by SOMEPOST -
Sociite de Mecanisation Postale, a group of manufacturers of
mechanised post office equipment. A testing label printed on 4
June 1965 on fluorescent paper was affixed to mail to
demonstrate the letter facer and the Austerlitz 1 language was
employed in demonstrating the coding and sorting equipment.
