S.S. Jebba

The S.S. Jebba sailed from Freetown on 4 March 1907 destined for Plymouth. In dense fog the ship ran ashore
at Bolt Tail, Devon on 18 March. The vessel was lost, but all of the mail and much of the cargo were salvaged.
The recovered mail was hand-stamped with SALVED FROM / S S JEBBA in one of three fonts. There are
different settings of two of the types.
