T he Leaping Stag is the 'mi racul ous deer' of Hungarian
legend, hav ing led the Huns and the Magyars to the ir land .
The Leapin g Stag of the Jamboree was to lure 26,000
Scouts from 48 countries to the fri endly Jamboree camp.

a reminder ofwhen his broadcast time was scheduled. At the prescribed time, I2th August
at 15:02 hours, the Scout, himself, read the pre-written message on the Jamboree radio.
