Scouting Around the World the Netherlands

14-1 7 July, 1948: G irl Guides and Boy Scouts of the 1900-year old city of Utrecht presented - on behalf of
all their brothers and sisters in th e Netherlands - the play "Spel en Glorie" (Game and Glory) to Her Majesty
the Queen, as a respectful tribute to celebrate her 50th jubilee to the Throne. The programme fo r th e event
says : " Li ght festival of Hi story and Freedom by 2,500 Boy Scouts and Girl Guides of the Utrecht di strict. " .
Perhaps it is tim e to recognise this as a Scout event and the advertising slogan cancel as a Scout cancel?
