Over 300 Boy Scouts and Girl Guides served in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
Severa l of them were kill ed in action.

Scout Post cancel "POCZTA POlOWA WARSZAWA PlD" (used 12-20 Aug. City Centre South).
Scout censorship cachet "CENZURA HARCERSKA .. (used 8 Aug - I Sept).

Fee Paid cachet "OPLA TA -WISZCZONA ". There was no regular postage to be paid, but payment was appreciated inform o//ood,
clothes or a bookgift to the Red Cross Hospital or to the men in the fron t line, and in such cases the Fee Paid cachet was applied.

After sixty-three days of bitter fi ghting, the in surrection was cru shed by th e Germa n
occupation force, and on 3 October 1944, Warsaw fe ll for th e second time.
