Scouting Around the World Australia
South Australian Centenary and Australi an Jamboree, held in the Belair National Park near
Adelaide, 26 Dec 1936 to 4 Jan 1937. 4,000 Scouts attended, including Scouts from South Africa,
Sri Lanka, the Solomons, Rabaul and Nauru.The camp was named "Corroboree" - a corroboree is an
event where Australian Aborigines interact with the Dreamtime through dance, music and costume.
