Jamaica: The De La Rue Officials
Two pence.
For the Official 2d, De La Rue made special printings of the key and duty plate 2d in grey.
The first printing of 2,025 sheets was invoiced on 29 March 1890. In total there were 6 printings of the
2d between 1890 and 1897, 4,237 sheets, 508,440 stamps. Key plates 1, 2, 3 and 4 and a single
duty plate were used. There is some variation in shade from slate to pale grey.
