Fourth setting: layout and plating.
The fourth and fifth settings were produced in 1894-95, long after the first three settings, and share
many characteristics. The use of a small setting of only six impressions may reflect both a smaller
print run and a shortage of useable type. The remaining type was very worn, for example most
positions show cut Es for Fs and there was also a shortage of Os.
The type was set up in a single horizontal row of 6 positions, 1 2 3 4 5 6
each overprint 17 to 17.5 mm long, struck 10 times.
