Jamaica Post Roads
Jamaica had four main post roads running from the commercial centre of Kingston.
The Leeward post road (in red) was the second longest at 133 miles.
It ran via Spanish Town to Grange Hill, in the far west of the island and linked to the Northern Road at Green Island.
Two shorter roads serviced the south east and north east parts of the island.
