Jamaica: War Stamps 1916 - 1920.
First issue, overprint double.
The double overprint was found within a single complete sheet of 240 stamps. The upper two panes
and the first two rows of the lower panes were normal. The impression on the fourth row was thick
and heavy and from there downwards a second impression began and progressively detached itself
from the first until, in the bottom row, the two overprints are distinct. With six rows of twelve double
overprints there can have been only 72 copies printed.
