Jamaica: The Nyasaland Key Plate Stamps: George V ½d, 1927.

The ½d was produced for the first time six years after the last printing of other Nyasaland values.
The die of the duty plate was approved on
20 December 1926. This die proof was then
stuck into De La Rue’s records and dated 28
December (1926). It notes the striking of 240
leads and the usual 6 spares for repairs. Colour trial from a De La Rue appendix sheet.
