A picture postcard of Great Yarmouth addressed to London with an EDW VII
Yid ARMY /OFFICIAL overprint cancelled by a double ring cancel CREWE
STATION dated 20th August 1904. The stamp is genuinely used, but has been

offered up to another double ring cancel with a figure 3 at the base. This format
is not recorded in use at Crewe station; only using the figure 1 in any of its
cancels. The whole thing is contrived and is of very little value
