                         double ring Army ~ost Office cancels dated 27  September
                          1900. The letter has clearly been violated and the contents
                            perhaps stolen. On three sides is the "Found Open and

                       Officially Sealed" tape tied by hooded circle [scroll] registered
                           cancels of London dated 19th October 1900. At left is the
                       BRIGHTON STATION/R.L single ring cancel of the Returned
                          Letter office dated 19th October 1900. Also with a framed

                         FOUND OPEN AND/RESEALED IN LS in violet ink. An
                                         ·incorrect use of this canceller
