Underpaid postcard addressed to Robin Hood's Bay from
Ulverstone, Lanes with the 1 d/824 tax mark of Ulverstone alongside
the bisected 2d postage due label making the 1 d charge to pay, tied
by the double ring cancel ROBIN HOOD'S BAY STATION
YORKS/2 dated 25th June 1938. To date, this is the only recorded
example of a bisected postage due label being tied or cancelled by
any railway station postmark in the U.K or Ireland
