                                              A letter from a nobleman who attended the Prince
                                           to the last, has the following sentence in it:-" The
                                           Prince continually repeated on his death-bed that
                                           hymn, 'Rock of Ages:'"
                                                      ROCK of Ages, cleft for me !
                                                      Let me hide myself in Thee.
                                                      Let the water and the blood,
                                                      From thy riven side which flowed,
                                                      Be of sin the double cure,
                                                      Save from wrath, and make me pure.
                                                      Not the labours of my hands,
                                                      Can fulfil Thy Law's demands.
                                                      Could my zeal no respite know,
                                                      Could my tears for ever flow,
                                                      This for sin could not atone :
                                                      Thou must save, and Thou alone.
                                                      In my hand no price I bring:
                                                      Simply to Thy Cross I  cling ;
                                                      Naked, come to Thee for  dress;
                                                      Helpless, look to Thee for grace ;
                                                      Leprous, to the Fountain fly :
                                                      Wash me, Saviour, or I die:
                                                      While I draw this fleeting breath,-
                                                      When my eyes shall close in death,-
                                                      When I soar to worlds unknown,-
                                                      See Thee on thy judgment-throne,-
                                                      Rocx of ages, cleft for me,
                                                      Let me hide myself in Thee !
                                                              --o--
                                              " God so lot·ed the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that
                                           whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
                                           JORN  iii.  16.
                                              " Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will
                                           give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am
                                           meek and lowly in heart : and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For
                                           my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." MATTHEW, xi. 28, 29, 30.
                                              " I am the resurrection and the life : he thal believeth in me, though
                                           he were dead, yet shall he live : And whosoever liveth and believeth
                                           in me shall never die. BELIEVEST THOU THIS?" JOHN
