B. Plate Varieties Double Transfers
Double transfers- plate varieties in which a portion of the design is doubled - were made on the plate by the transfer
roll when it created an accidental doubling as the design was laid down. Four double transfer varieties are known and each
exist in about 1 out of 200 copies extant.
