Alger, Algeria x.12 Routed to Gerryville A Royal Letter of 22 April 1830 stated that a Free- letter could be sent to Swedish missions abroad. uu uu Such Free-letter had to go through the “Cabinet for External Letter Exchange” (became 1840 a part of Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and was to be marked with e.g. “Frbr” (=Free-letter). At this no- uu tation was signed “Cab” by the Cabinet, as ap- uu proval. uu These Free-letters were sent via Ystad and the Sw. uu Post Office in Greifswald and Hamburg paid 1866 uu Prussia for further conveyance as far as possible. Geryville Mail direction to Algeria Sweden sent military officers on official assignment to important countries with top modern armies.
