From the written message: "Here is a souvenir of happy days in the past.".
Postmarked "FIELD POST OFFICE 6.W 17 SP 18" (W is for Australian
Division), sent to a soldier at the Cambridge Hospital, Aldershot, located
about 60 km southwest of London. In the First World War, the Cambridge
Military Hospital was the first base hospital to receive casualties directly
from the Western Front. Probably the addressee was in hospital for medical
treatment after being wounded in a battle of the Great War (World War I).
