Scouting Around the World Estonia

Scouting in Estonia started in 1911. In 1918 the Estonian Scout troops were
dispersed by the German forces that occupied the country, but the Scouts
continued to be active, and many Scouts volunteered for service in the army.
Scouting in Estonia continued in 1920 after the end of the War of Independence.

The foremost achievement of Estonian Scouting
was the third national camp, held in 1936 and
attended by approximately 2000 boys, including
480 from abroad.
The camp post office had a special postmark
which was used 10-20 July 1936.
