In July 1938 the Lithuanian Sco ut

Organ isation celebrated its

201h Anni versary by holdin g the

2"d National Jamboree. There were

two camps, one for Boy Scouts and

one for Girl Guides.

The Boy Scout camp took place in
Aukstoji Panemune 8 - 18 July, with
over 1,600 Boy Scouts including
guests from England , Estoni a,
Fi nl and, France, Hungary, Latvia,
Norway, Sweden and the Un ited
States of America.

T he Gi rl Guide camp was held near
Pazaislis. More than 1,400 Lithuanian
G irl Scouts with guests from
10 countries participated.
