The registration fee was reduced from 6d to 4d on 15 February 1866.
In 1866 the book post rate to Great Britain was set at 3d for up to 4 oz.

The red ink 2 accountancy mark seems to show the share due to the British post office (2d of the ~
Struck in red ink with undated JAMAICA I REGISTERED (Lant type RC3; Proud type R2).
Blue crayon 1 is probably the registration number at Kingston, the first item registered that day.
