Unauthorised Usage of GB Adhesive After Authority Withdrawn
Authorisation for the use of GB adhesive stamps was withdrawn on 1 August 1860.
The Jamaican pineapple issue was not introduced until 23 November 1860.
In the interim period the public were supposed to revert to unstamped letters.
