There are two Ordinary values recorded in Ansari for this location, each from a single piece. The
first, reported by Doubleday in 1976, is the 6 Paisa I 1 Anna value used in Satkhira on 28 January
1961 and which leads to this handstamp being assigned to this location. The second is a 75 Paisa
I 12 Annas used in Kaliganj, Khulna on 20 February 1961. A third value, 50 Paisa I 8 Annas with
an un-identifiable postmark has subsequently been recorded. The one line overprint is in English
with the first letter a capital and the remainder in small case letters. Height of P, 4 mm, length of
Paisa, 10 mm.
