A water damaged cover addressed to Bridgwater with the

stamp apparently washed off in floods that hit the town on the
28th October 1960. The cover and the P125H label are
cancelled by the STATION SORTING OFFICE rubber packet
cancel S.S.O TAUNTON/S01v1ERSET in violet ink and dated

the same day. The label is amended to read that the item of
mail has been damaged by floods
