                     17 May 1933 ‑ Shanghai to Prague, Czechoslovakia. Sent by sea to Saigon, carried by the SS Andre Lebon.
             The boxed Saïgon‑Marseille handstamp, applied in Saigon (McQueen Type 1), clearly indicated that the letter was to be carried
             by the Air France service. The cover also has the rare Par Avion Saigon‑Marseille et au delà / de Marseille handstamp applied at
                         Shanghai (McQueen Type 76), indicating that the letter was intended to be flown beyond Marseilles.






























              Reverse of cover (75%) showing $1.83 in adhesives correctly paying the postage rate, and the Prague arrival datestamp of
                                           7 Jun 1933. Single rate letter $0.25 + $1.58 = $1.83.
