External Postcard Rate

Card sent to Paris by a child. The correct external postcard rate was
25cts between 1928 and 1935. lt then increased to 30 cts.
lt is possible that the stock of 25ct stamps in the main Post Office was
temporarily exhausted at that time - hence the use of the next best
value - 30ct.
30 et stamp rarely seen alone on cover or card.
