          Late Uses of Imperforate Stamps






































                        May 7, 1861 – London to Hungerford.  London E.C duplex on face with faint, Hungerford
                        circular datestamp on the reverse.   Perforated penny red stamps were in wide
                        circulation by 1854.









































              July 2, 1857 – London to Middlesex. Cancelled by London duplex with blue 'Gt. Coram St.' on reverse. Plate 4,
              the last 2d blue imperforate plate, was retired in 1854.
