Plate 175 On wrapper from London to Hull. CG adhesive used to pay late fee for mail
deposited after 6 o’clock PM.
Imperforate stamps from plates 176 and 177 are known. It is believed that approximately 2500 of
the sheets printed from these plates were released as imperforate penny reds. However, a 15-year
search by this collector of notable collections, auctions records, and other archives has yet to find
any record of an identified CG-position imperforate adhesive from either of these plates.
