Letter carried by rail on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad to Chicago and placed in
closed mail bag for Glasgow. Carried on the Michigan Central Railroad to Detroit and the
Canadian Grand Trunk Railroad to Quebec, June 8th.
There it boarded on the Montreal Ocean Steamship, Allan Line steamer, Nova Scotian. On
arrivai in Liverpool June 18th, transported in the closed bag to Glasgow.
