The  Cape  4d  -Y2  oz ship  letter  rate  ap.d  the  cash  redirection  mark  and  
charge  of 6  annas  raised  [4 annas  deleted]  in  Mayet-Mot  in  Burma  or  
in  Calcutta  India.  

The postage on ship letters was 4d for each  Y2  oz. This rate was introduced  ou the  181  Aprill863  and  
lasted until  the 30th  June  1876 after which the rate went up to 6d for each  Y2  oz. The manuscript  1d  
has been deleted. No charge was raised in the UK on delivery. Transit  dates: cape Town October  10  
1865,; Calcutta  Ship letter arrivall1  December  1865; Mayet-Mot Burma  19 January  1866; Calcutta
