Sweden 1874-1882 the Postage Due Stamps

An announcement dated on 12 November 1872 approved the proposal from the Swedish Post to issue Postage Due
stamps. These were not finalized until the end of 1873 and released on 1 January 1874. The delay was caused by
reorganization within the Swedish Post. Postage Due stamps were not intended to be for disposal to the public.
