The Austerlitz language was modified to attain parity with the P.L.M. language but had to retain
the fixed start due to equipment restrictions. The Austerlitz 2 language is identifiable by the
two digits of the departement translated by strokes only in positions 1 to 6 The programme
operated at the Gare d'Austerlitz sorting office from 19 January 1970 to 2 May 1971.
