Censored Mail to Sierra Leone
Inbound letter from the USA to Sierra Leone which was physically censored in America prior to despatch.
2 October 1943 - Concordia, USA to Jaiama. Backstamped at Freetown (23 Nov), Segbwema (25 Nov) and Sefadu (26 Nov).
The writer indiscreetly mentioned military matters ‘...lots of sholders...’ and the censor removed the errant details.
