Although the sender used a Dakar à Toulouse air mail label, the letter was prepaid at 1s 2½d for the
Bathurst to Germany route for mail to countries other than UK, British Empire or the USA.
Carried by Deutsche Lufthansa flight L342 from Bathurst (30 Apr) to Frankfurt (1 May).
