Scouting Around the World Russian DP Camp Monchehof
18 April 1946.
Issued in camp Mtinchehof for local postal service between the
five Russian DP camps Mtinchehof, Fiirstenwald, Rotwesten,
Zierenberg and Kassel. Stamp de sign by Bori s Kirushin .
On 18 April 1946, during the Russian Easter, it was decided to issue Easter
greeting cards and special stamps. Two stamps, 12 Pf portraying a church and
24 Pfas Easter egg were printed in small quantity on a mimeograph machine.
196 stamps were printed ofeach value. Stereo RS 2 and RS I.
