the ir 1955 camp at Valen in Sunnhordland, set in a beautiful fjord
landscape in Western Norway. The newspapers report of happy campers
despite lots of heavy ra in and wind. The rural post office that operated
in the camp used a spec ial postmark (N-026) from 27 June to 4 July.

and says that a rural post office operated in the camp.

Valen viewcard written by Girl Guide in camp and sent to Denmark. Postmarked (N-026)
" SPEID ERLElREN VALEN 2 1 7 55" . The only recorded usage of this postmark.
