Scouting Around the World Norway

Norwegian YWCA Girl Guides held their 1954 national counc il meeting at Haugetun,
a Christian folk high schoo l in Fredrikstad. Immedi ately fo llowing the meeting, about
80 adult leaders camped in Berby, at the head of the Idde fj ord, not far from Ha lden.
The camp took pl ace on YWCA G irl Guide fo under Margrethe Parm' s leisure estate in Berby.

The 1954 Swedi sh national camp of the NTO G irl Guide Assoc iati on (National Temperance Order)
took place in Skane in southern Sweden. The spec ial postmark (S-022) was used 27 July - 5 August.

Readdressed to Storen, Norwegian stamps paid the due fee and postmarked " MOL DE -6-8-54".
