Inte rn ational Organi sat ion of Good Templ ars - IOGT - was estab li shed in Swede n in
1879. IOGT-NTO of today was fo rmed in 1970 thro ugh the merger of the Swedi sh IOGT
w ith N ationaltempl aro rden (N TO), a C hristian Swedi sh temperance organization.
Scouting began as a n activity with in IOGT in 1927, and the IOGT Sco ut Assoc iati on wa s
formed in 1928. In 1950, they held a nati onal Boy Scout camp at Fryksta, Varml and,
north of Lake Yanern . The special postmark (S-0 15) was used 28 J une - 8 J uly, 1950.
