The Great Britain 1957 Jubilee Jamboree stamps were overprinted for Bahrain, Qatar
and Muscat. The Muscat overprints are w ith value on ly. All Jubilee Jamboree
overprinted stamps were va lid in all the above three territories as we ll as in Kuwait.

Overprints were also prepared for Kuwait, and supp li es were sent to the territory but were not put on
sa le because t~e Ruler of the territory said he would prefer that the stamps were not issued in view of
the agreement with certain Arab countries to boycott the Jamboree on account of the Suez incident.
