The watermark of the
Crown CA paper,
when cut to a printer’s
sheet to take 240
stamps, has the
words CROWN
AGENTS in the left
sheet margins and
FOR THE COLONIES
in the right sheet
margins. The words
CROWN AGENTS
also read across the
central horizontal
gutter between upper
and lower panes.
There are no words in
the top and bottom
margins, but crosses
appear in the extreme
corners.
