The first Jamaican revenue stamps were directly embossed and uncoloured.

First issue, 1819, undated.

Issue of 1882 – 99.
The revenue stamp was still undated, but on these Court documents was supplemented by an
impression of the dated embossed stamp of the Island Treasury.

2s value on a Summons,

10 May 1888.

3s value, 7 August 1888. 3s 6d value on a Warrant, 4 January 1888.
