The 1d U.P.U. and Empire rate was reintroduced 19 Oct 1916.

On 1 Apr 1939 the UPU rate was raised to 1½d (but the Empire rate remained at 1d until 1950.
The 1½d rate only lasted until 30 Jun 1940, when it was raised to 2d.
The King George VI Post Cards were Introduced in 1938
