Jamaica Revenues: Judicial Stamps, 1898 - 1969.
The Nyasaland key plates: the 8s 6d value.
Die proof of the 8s 6d frame.
Often wrongly described as an unissued value.
Postage and revenue stamps used Nyasaland
key plates for the 1912-27 George V issues.
However, Nyasaland key plate stamps were
also printed for Judicial stamps from 1912
to 1969 with the heads of George V, George VI
and Queen Elizabeth. A wider range of duty
plate values were printed for overprinting
Judicial, including an 8s 6d value.
Ex Vestey.
